Luis Diego Barahona Arquitectura. Obras y proyectos
The book (its title means Works and Projects) brings together 59 works and projects that Luis Diego Barahona carried out with his teams between 2001 and 2022. They are arranged in eleven building types, from offices and retail to institutional buildings, human development centers, housing, urban ensembles, urban renewal plans, parks, squares and mobility.
Most of the works are in Costa Rica. It also includes competition entries for Chile, Argentina, Mali and Senegal. Among them are the Tirrases Human Development Center, the Barrio Escalante Renewal Plan with the La Luz Gastronomic Promenade, the intervention at the Atlantic Railway Station in Turrialba and the municipal buildings of Santa Ana and Pococí.
“What stands out most in the architectural work of Luis Diego Barahona is that it is understood as a process”

Sistemas de Acupunturas Urbanas
An urban acupuncture is a small, precise intervention in public space. This book (its title means Systems of Urban Acupunctures) explains how several of them, conceived together, can improve an entire neighborhood with limited resources and in stages.
It gathers the urban renewal plans and public spaces the office designed in those years in San José, such as the plans for Barrio Los Yoses and Barrio Escalante. It is a compact illustrated edition and part of the Colección Líneas.
