Fixed equipment that safely delivers electricity to electric vehicles, from bicycles to buses. It can be slow on alternating current or fast on direct current.

What it solves

It allows electricity to be used instead of fuel for daily mobility. Under a roof it protects the person and the equipment from sun and rain.

Today

Plan from the design stage the conduit and electrical capacity for chargers in every parking space. Protect the equipment from the weather, with an accessible route and good night lighting.

Common mistake

Installing the charger without checking the capacity of the panel or the service connection, which forces costly works later.

Tomorrow

Smart charging decides when to charge according to the tariff or the available sun. With bidirectional charging the vehicle can return energy to the house or the grid at peak hours.

Fact More than 80% of electric vehicle charging happens at home.

Where it comes from

  • 1Urban electric utility Hartford, United States, 1910 to 1924
A service rented swappable batteries for electric trucks that traveled millions of miles.
  • 2Electric transport incentives law Costa Rica, 2018
Law 9518 provided for the creation of charging stations in the country.
  • 3Amendment to Law 9518 Costa Rica, 2026
Law 10937 authorized any natural or legal person to install and operate charging stations and sell charging as a service.
